Calling All
Veterans - Mary Lamm is
trying to find the names of
all the veterans of CSUMC. The Memorial Committee wishes to place a
plaque with all the names engraved on it in our church. I have agreed
to try to compile a correct listing of these names. These are veterans
who go all the way back to the Civil War. If you are a veteran or have
anyone in your family - husband, father, grandfather or even a
great-grandfather, or children who have been members of Chestnut
Street Church, and have served in the armed forces - please let me
know. I have about 75 names so far, so I may have already talked to

to leave anyone off this list so let me hear from you.

Summer Plans for Children & Youth?
- Our United Methodist
church camps are filling up fast. The nearest UM camp to Lumberton is
located at Parkton, N.C. and is Rockfish Outdoor Center. Check out
their website at
www.RockfishOutdoorCenter.org.
There are brochures outlining their many camp programs in the church
