Lay Leadership Ministry Area

The Lay Leadership Ministry Area of the United Ministry Council encourages leadership recruitment, training and is involved in the nominations ministry. The Lay Leader is supportive to both the staff and the congregation as we strive to be disciples of Jesus Christ.

Once a year a Lay Person of the Year Award is given.. Nomination from the congregation are received and the Lay Leader coordinates the selection process for the award.

Additionally, the Lay Leader works with the Worship Ministry Area to provide a Lector for each Sunday.
