| My Life in Ghana (July Newsletter - Final) |
| Wow, I can’t believe it. My time in Ghana is over. Even though there was only a short amount of time I spent in Ghana in July, it was jam packed! So many things were going on, it’s hard to describe in words what all went on in my last month in Ghana. School ended, two of new best friends got married, going to a game reserve to see wild animals up North, traveling to Togo again and traveling back to the States! Thankfully the North Carolina group was there with me to travel back home. Let’s just say that Germany wasn’t a great time when trying to get my boarding pass. Long story short, Connie had to buy me a new plane ticket back home and my luggage got to me 3 days late. I want to write all that happened down for you all to read, but I don’t think that it would do you any justice except hearing it from me. The reason I say this is because a lot of it would get lost in while you’re reading this newsletter. So I’d really encourage you to talk to me about, or give me a phone call and we’ll talk about all that God did that last month, as well as the entire time God allowed me to spend in Ghana. I can’t write this newsletter without thanking the Hostetter’s and the rest of the family for all their help and the relationships I made with everyone. I was truly blessed to be with everyone and encouraged daily to be EVERYTHING for Christ! God allowed me to grow spiritually in so many ways and a lot of that wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for my family in Ghana. I know this is a short newsletter in contrast to others, but I would really like to talk to you all individually, or as a group to discuss and talk about what all God is doing in Ghana and Togo. Along with how great of a Father in Heaven that we serve! As always, thank you so much for all your continually support. Whether it was through prayer, encouragement or financial support, it was all a big help. God will truly bless you for your support. I hope to hear from you all very soon!!! PRAYER REQUEST: - Brothers and Sisters in Christ in Ghana and Togo - For the students to be focused over the break (those that are returning and those that aren’t returning) - Mr. and Mrs. H’s visit to the States - Pray that God opens up a job for me (I do have a job, it’s just a temporary job at the time) - For me to be continually focused on Him and serving Him in every capacity possible In Christ, Travis |
